I'm with the NOV (M/D Totco) cycling team, lead in Cedar Park by Dick Kincheloe. He set up a training ride for the team for Saturday, Feb 28 for 1 pm, and we need to move the time to 10 am.... but Dick is out of town on vacation.

I added an update as a separate event (b/c I don't have Dick's login) and accidentally ended up with two copies. I tried to delete one by cancelling and it resulted in the copy being left there with a "cancelled" notice over it.

Folks are getting confused because (a) they're not scrolling down to see the update, and/or (b) they see two updates, one showing cancelled.

Can an administrator please remove my updates (username steffer) and leave the original event but add the time change to it?? That is, change the time on the original event from 1 pm to 10 am...

Thanks!!
Stephanie

Sorry, I forgot to remove the duplicates when I got home.

Only I can 'delete' an event. When you cancel an event the site stamps it with 'cancelled' so there is no confusion when someone sees it. When the site started if an event was just deleted e-mails and phone calls ensued.

The update option is what needs to be used when modifying an existing event but only the user that created it can modify or cancel their event.

Sorry for the confusion, this happens from time to time.
